PALUMBO MALTA – THE GEM IN THE HEART OF THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA

For the second consecutive year Palumbo Malta Superyachts foresees another busy refit season.

The market for superyachts above the 80m length is becoming increasingly strong and the last Refit Season saw PSY Malta carrying out works on six massive superyachts ranging from 80m to 147m.

All the various works conducted ranged from tank treatment, replacing of hull steel plates/ main prop shafts/ complete stern tubes, as well as a full paint job on a 90m new build.

For the upcoming months the Shipyard is looking forward to several important Refit Works such a full paint job on a mega yacht and also 5-year survey works on another couple of mega yachts.

What will give us an edge this year is the recent € 2.5 million investment in a 420-tonne travel lift that will attract more business to the island from superyachts seeking repair and refitting in the Winter months. This huge travel lift will better service the growing demand for refit on medium-sized yachts in the Mediterranean.

All this is well complimented by a state-of-the-art accommodation facility and a well-equipped Yacht Chandlery outlet.

This year a new 500 sqm Yacht Chandler & Showroom was inaugurated at Palumbo Malta Superyachts Shipyard in a constant effort to satisfy our clients at 360° by providing them with their favourite top-brand products including a collection of the finest wine, spirits and cigars selected from all the yards within the Palumbo network.

CUSTOMER CARE AT HEART

When you place your yacht in the hands of Palumbo Superyachts Refit, you can rest assured that we will not just carry out the planned repairs, maintenance, refit or conversion, but will also see to the needs of your captain, crew and other representatives during their stay.

Indeed, we provide not only practical assistance, but also indoor and outdoor recreational areas.

ACCOMMODATION

During their stay, we also provide crew accommodation.
All our double rooms are catered with everything necessary in order to guarantee a comfortable stay to captains and crew while we work on their yachts. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom, A/C, TV, free Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, storage facilities and include daily cleaning and replacing of bed linen and towels.
The Yacht Crew Hostel, thanks to its capacity to accommodate up to 108 guests, is one of the greatest achievements in customer service at Palumbo Malta Superyachts.
Located just a few steps away from the berthing/docking areas, The Yacht Crew Hostel and The Yacht Club are perfect to make your crew stay during lead time totally hustle free.

OUTDOOR CHILLOUT AREA

You can choose to spend some time at our outdoor chill-out area or enjoy a nice evening with friends over a bbq.

GYM, SPA, GAMES ROOM, BLACK BOX

The Yacht Crew Club comes complete with state of the art fully equipped gym, dining/living, games room and black box. All these areas are open all year round and free to all crew members who, alternatively, can choose to relax at the SPA and Wellness centre, a slice of heaven perfect for unwinding and taking care of both body and mind.

Your crew can also take the opportunity to spend time with our staff joining them for a tasty and healthy meal at our own canteen.
