“Mondomarine” shipyard of Savona has finally been acquired by Palumbo Superyachts, the yachting division of Palumbo Group.

The Port Authority of Savona approved the concession to Palumbo of the 20 years state concession of the renowned Italian shipyard.

The business horizons of Palumbo Superyachts further expand thanks to this acquisition that increases again the network already consistent of Palumbo Group shipyards in the Mediterranean and East Atlantic (Ancona, Naples, 2 in Messina, Malta, Marseille, Tenerife and recently Rijeka in Croatia, besides the representative office in Monaco).

“We are extremely happy for yet another goal achieved – Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO, explains . This acquisition will further strengthen our unequaled services offer on new builds, refit and maintenance from a unique network of shipyards. We worked hard on this project in the last year because we have recognized  the potential of Mondomarine brand and the peculiar location of the shipyard for our refit network.”

Several international designers will cooperate with Palumbo Superyachts on the new yacht projects in order to give new lines to the core values of a shipyard with such a long history, like Mondomarine has, founded in 1915.
