Built in 1991 by Perini Navi, this extraordinary sailing yacht is a successful synthesis between elegance, power and luxury. Her original owner subsequently sold it to a family who kept it lovingly for many years, until they commissioned a much bigger one. Made in steel and aluminium, she can comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of 10 people and, powered by two Caterpillar engines of 402 hp each, this sailboat is capable of rivalling even much more recent and sophisticated ones.
Refitted in 2011 when this iconic yacht was restored to her former glory, following her arrival at Palumbo SY Refit Savona the vessel was moved to an undercover shed using a specific shore-moving system capable of transferring yachts on the hard. At that stage, preparations for the paint work to hull and masts begun. The objective of the exercise was to reinvigorate that ‘well-groomed yacht’ appearance to a vessel that has seen some extensive cruising since her initial launch 29 years ago, combined with a number of ordinary maintenance jobs.
